Loafers

Take off your pumps and get into this gorgeous new trend  – Loafers (yey, who knew my granny had been stylish for years!)

Tried some of these on today and they look amazing and sooo comfy – they don’t call them slipper loafers for nothing.

I have noticed Pixie Lott rocking this trend for a while and now it’s time to hop on board.

They look great with peg trousers, chinos, dresses & playsuits.

Autumn/Winter

Well, after a short break I am back just in time to show you all some hot trends for A/W. I suspect the usual, chunky knits, fur coats and pirate boots will be back (great news if you already have from last year). Additionally  this year seems to be bringing the summer into autumn/winter – team you denim hotpants with tights, and I  just mean plain black tights but patterned and coloured tights.  Wear you maxi skirt with a jumper and boots – this looks especially great for the new darker colour maxi skirts that seem to be appearing for A/W – River Island is a great example of these.

It has to be said that I LOVE this cream ‘&’ Topshop jumper. It will look great with all of the above items for 2 different A/W looks.

Crochet

I think Crochet is definitely going to be a big hit this Spring/summer. I absolutely love this trend, it’s really feminine but can also look very sexy and chic if you wear it right. It’s also great for a cool festival look.

Blazers seem to be a trend that keeps coming back around, New Look at the moment has some of my favourites!

I am a HUGE fan of paper bag style, its so flattering especially around the tummy area. This year there are so many options to choose from.  Its a really big trend for this season so it shoulsn’t be hard for you to pick an option you like, whether its trousers, shorts, mini or maxi skirts.

This style looks great with blouses, tees and vests tucked in – really easy to wear. You can dress up or down with flat sandals or heels.

Topshop has soooo many great pieces coming in daily on it’s website I just can’t decide which to order first!

A lot of the colours I talked about previously pop and pastel colours.

  

I love the details on the first top, this is also a trend i’m seeing – fringing, sequins, ruffles, pleats. tops with this kind of details look great teamed with skinny jeans, bodycon skirs, shorts and leggings. Team with a blazer for a cool day look.
